Custom Suiting Process | How it Works

Give us a call or send us an email. We'll book your session at a time and location convenient for you. Many busy professionals who don't have time to head out shopping for a custom suit in Orlando, FL, or bigger cities most of the time decide to have us come to their office or private residence. That way, you can be in a relaxed environment and be comfortable knowing that you have the full attention of your personal clothier.

Once we meet on the scheduled date, we sit back, relax, and first talk about your needs, style, and what your current wardrobe looks like. We'll give you our recommendations on what we believe will be the better suit options for you. We take profession, personal style, wallet, and current wardrobe into consideration.

It's time to get measured! This is the most important part of the entire custom-suiting process journey! During this step, we'll take 30+ measurements and use tools to measure your posture, how your shoulders slope, and much more! That way, you'll know that your newly made custom suit in Florida will fit perfectly! 

We've arrived to the most fun part of the custom-suiting journey - selecting your fabric and design! You'll get to browse our entire collection of fabrics and choose the design of your garment, including (but not limited to) stitching, lining, canvas, shoulder structure, pockets, buttons, and much more!

We'll start the creation process of your garment. Depending on your fabric, design, and tailoring selections, the process usually takes 4-8 weeks.

Once your garment is ready, we'll conduct the first fitting, evaluating the fit to see if any adjustments are needed. Remember, when you buy a custom suit in Central Florida from Carl Axen Clothier, alterations are free of charge!

If alterations/modifications are needed, we'll schedule a second fitting for you once those changes are finished. You being 100% happy and satisfied with your garment is of utmost important to us!
